
The Rosenbach Museum and Library is located in the elegant 1860s Rosenbach townhouse in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse-Fitler historic district. It has an internationally known collection of rare books, manuscripts, furniture, silver, paintings, prints, drawings, and sculpture. These include James Joyce’s manuscript for Ulysses, original drawings by Maurice Sendak, and the papers and recreated Greenwich Village living room of poet Marianne Moore.
